To be effective, all surfaces must be treated to saturation in 1-3 applications, depending on the substrate. To calculate accurate consumption, treat a little hidden region in each application.

• Porous natural stones such as limestone, sandstone, and slate are 2 to 5 metres square per litre.

When laying paving on slabs made of slate, black, blue limestone, or honed black granite, we recommend using Joint-It Supreme Colour Enhancer as a colour enhancer.

If you want to keep any of the colours of Joint-It Simple out of porous stones, they should be pre-treated.

Question: When Will You Be Able To Walk On The Surface?

In dry situations, 4 hours is the average time to return to the surface once it looks ready.

Before Application

Remove any surface dust, dirt, oil, efflorescence, organic growth, coatings sealers, and old paint films. Surfaces should be totally dry, clean, and free of dust and debris.

• Before applying it, all algae and mould should be dealt with.
• Before using the surface, cracks and maintenance work should be addressed.
• Pressure washing at lower pressures (up to 2500 psi) and using a disinfectant solution is suggested.

To get the most out of Joint-It Supreme Colour Enhancer, clean your surface thoroughly with Joint-It So Clean before applying it to ensure that all pores are fully penetrable and dirt and stains are removed.

Question: Is It Possible To Use The Sealer On A Previously Sealed Surface?

If the surface has not been treated, pour a steady stream of water onto it and see whether it soaks in. There's no sealer if the water absorbs into the surface, and you can use Joint-It Supreme Colour Enhancer if this is the case. If droplets form on the surface, this indicates that there is a sealer in place, which must be removed before applying Joint-It Supreme Colour Enhancer.

Limitations and Application:

• Do not apply within four hours of expected rain or in wet, damp situations.
• Before beginning work, always test a tiny hidden spot. Do not add water to this product.
• Another method is spraying using a low-pressure roller or brushes to the saturation point. Make sure the treatment is applied from bottom to top on vertical surfaces.
• Once the base coat is dry, you can apply a second layer if needed. Make sure not to let it run, and as soon as your substrate has absorbed that first coat, add another one for good measure!
• Between applications, avoid allowing the product to dry.
• The effectiveness of your product will begin to work immediately and may take up to 7 days to achieve full efficacy. After you've completed, clean equipment and tools with water right away.
• Because Joint-It Supreme Colour Enhancer is absorbed into the substrate to function, non-porous surfaces are not compatible. This product must be absorbed into the surface to work; however, porcelain has virtually no absorbency.
• In the original container, please keep it in a cool, dry location between 5 degrees C and 30 degrees C.
