Bond It Drive Alive Garden Wood Decking Oil Natural 2.5 Litre also suitable for treating all wooden and timber that's commonly found in the garden setting.

Bond-it decking oil has been specially formulated to revive weathered and tired hardwood and softwood timber decking.

Fast acting formular that has a natural finish and allows the original timber to be seen, restoring the wood back to its natural new appearance.

The wooden decking should be cleaned firest with Bond It Drive Alive Garden Wood Decking Cleaner prior to treating decking boards it provides a good key and long lasting finish.

Bond-it DECKING OIL provides your deck with a natural looking protection by replacing natural oils in the wood.

It provides a protective barrier against water penetration where constant weathering can cause swelling and warping of the wood decking.

Suitable for use on untreated, previously oiled or weathered decking.

Preperation

New Decking: The timber should be allowed to weather for a minimum of 6 months before applying decking oil

Test your timber splash some drops of water onto the dry wood, if water sits on the surface in beads, then the decking does not require deck oil

Applying Decking Oil

1. Decking can be washed with a pressure washer.
2. Work from one end of the decking to the other.
3. if you do not have a pressure washer scrub the surface with a stiff brush then hose down.
4. Pour decking cleaner directly onto the deck surface.
5. Scrub the surface immediately using a stiff brush.
6. leave the cleaner on for 15 to 20 minutes.
7. Wash away all cleaning residue.
8. Ensure that the decking is dry do not apply in wet conditions or if rain is imminent.
9. Shake can thoroughly before use always test a small inconspicuous area prior to full application.
10. Apply a flood coat using a good quality brush or roller.
11. Apply a second coat once the first coat is dry aapproximatley 6 hours.

Leave 24 hours before subjecting to foot traffic
