Bond It Clear Coat High Build Block Paving Sealer for use only on interlocking block paving on driveways paths and patios.

Bond it clear coat protects the block paving from water penetration, staining and dirt grime build-up.

It will enhance present colour and extend the lifespan of the treated blocks.

Areas For Use

Seals and protects, block paving, paths, patios and driveway's.

Preparation

Remove organic growth lichens etc. that may be present.

For best results pre treat the areas with Bond It PATIO BLASTER refer to data sheet.

Wash all debris away and ensure the surface is dry and free from oil, grease, dust and loose material that may hinder adhesion.

Application

Drive alive clear coat is ready to use, and does not require diluting.

We advise that you test this product on a small inconspicuous area prior to use to check compatibility.

Stir well before use.

Ensure that the blocks are completely dry, then apply a single coat using either a brush, roller or squeegee, ensuring no pooling or ponding occurs.

Allow 3 to 4 hours drying time this may be extended depending on conditions before trafficking the area.

Application temperature must be between +5 degree C and +30 degree C.

Colder humid conditions will slow drying times and may cause blooming.

Coverage

One 4 Litre container will cover approximately 15 meter square for a single coat depending on surface porosity.

Important Note

Always reed the data sheet prior to application for does and dont's.

It is necessary to seal blocks prior to the application of any pointing or jointing compound.

Some compounds have the capability of staining porous paving materials.

Ensure clear coat has completely cured prior to pointing.

Do not apply clear coat to any uncured wet pointing or to any dry mix cement compound.

If applying to new paviours ensure a sufficient period of weathering as recommended by the paving manufacturer has elapsed in order to avoid efflorescence.

Blocks can be resealed using a single coat of clear coat at 3 to 4 year intervals.

The surface may still be sealed even when the surface tension appears to have reduced

Always apply to a small test area and check a few days later.

Avoid over application ponding and pooling.
