How to Use Sika SikaSeal Construction Ultra Premium Builders Silicone Sealant

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or contaminants.
2. Backer Rod: Fill all voids with backer rod to create the perfect flexible joint.
3. Select the Colour: Choose the appropriate colour for the material and aesthetic requirements.
4. Cut the Nozzle: Cut the cartridge nozzle at a 45-degree angle to match the desired bead size.
5. Load the Cartridge: Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun.
6. Apply the Silicone: Run a consistent bead along the joint, ensuring even coverage.
7. Tool the Joint: Smooth the silicone with a tooling stick or your finger dipped in soapy water or Sika Tooling Agent for a neat finish.
8. Allow to Cure: The sealant will skin over in approximately 10-15 minutes and cure fully within 24 hours, depending on conditions.
