Overview:

Sika SikaSeal Construction Silicone + is a professional, fast-curing low modulus acetoxy silicone sealant designed for everyday construction and perimeter sealing where speed, flexibility and a tidy finish are essential. It’s the updated Sika-branded version of the well-known Everbuild 335 Construction Silicone, brought into the Sika range as part of the product transition so the name and cartridge branding have changed, while the application focus remains the same.

The mould-resistant, anti-fungal formulation helps reduce black mould growth in humid areas, and the cured seal is waterproof and weather-tight for reliable use indoors or out. Supplied as a single 295ml cartridge, it’s ideal for sealing around PVCu, aluminium and timber frames, glazing seals (weather sealing) and general building joints, with low dirt pick-up to help joints stay cleaner-looking for longer.

How to Use

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and dust-free; remove loose coatings and old sealant

• Cut the cartridge tip, fit the nozzle and cut at an angle to suit bead size

• Apply a continuous bead with steady pressure using a quality sealant gun

• Tool within the working time for a neat finish (masking tape helps create sharp edges)

• Clean uncured sealant with suitable wipes or white spirit; remove cured sealant mechanically
