Product Overview:

Cromapol is a fibre free liquid acrylic resin dispersed in solvent designed to prevent the ingress of water and is effective on all common roofing surfaces and types.

Require only a one coat application to give instant waterproofing.

The Clear colour is not fully clear its more opaque translucent.

White and mid grey Cromapol have great solar reflective capability's and white grey and black have fibre reinforcing.clear has no fibre reinforcing.

Application:

1. Clean all debris to ensure a dust free surface, all moss and lichen must be removed using a Fungicidal Wash, ensuring all corners and gutters are clean and free from plant growth.
2. Ensure the area to be repaired is free from standing water, make good all cracks, splits, small holes and flashings prior to application.
3. Gap or expansion joints greater than 3mm must be covered using Glass‐Fibre scrim and Cromapol this must be carried out prior to full coating.
4. Cromapol will tolerate damp surfaces although as with any application for best results Cromar recommend applying to a dry surface.
5. Cromapol is easily applied using a brush, roller or squeegee.
6. Application temperature should be between 5 degree C and 25 degree C.

3. Does it allow light through? Yes, it allows some light to pass through it but will reduce this.
4. Can it be used in damp weather? Yes, it can be applied in damp conditions and is rainproof shortly after application.
5. Does it require a primer? Generally, no primer is needed—just a clean, stable surface.
6. Is this version fibre-reinforced? No, the clear version is not fibre-reinforced, but it still provides excellent flexibility.
7. Can it be painted over? It's designed as a final finish.Overcoating should only be done with compatible materials after testing.
8. Is it UV resistant? Yes, it offers good resistance to UV exposure and weathering.
9. How long does it last? When applied correctly, it provides long-term protection—lifespan may vary based on exposure.
10. Is it safe for use on polycarbonate roofs? Always test compatibility of polycarbonate and other plastics.

Drying time up to 1 week depending on temperature moisture and thickness of coating.

The product maybe soft for a further period but this is not detrimental to the waterproofing qualities of the product.
