Cromar Cromapol Acrylic Roof Coating is a high-performance, fibre-reinforced waterproofing solution designed for instant and long-lasting protection of a wide range of roof surfaces. Supplied in a convenient 5kg container, this black, ready-to-use liquid coating can be applied in damp conditions, offering immediate waterproofing upon application. With its excellent flexibility, adhesion, and durability, Cromapol is ideal for both emergency roof repairs and planned maintenance on domestic and commercial buildings including full roof coating.

Cromapol Black is a fibre reinforced liquid acrylic resin dispersed in solvent designed to prevent the ingress of water and is effective on all common roofing surfaces and types.

Due to the high level of fibres in Cromapol the coating will bridge small gaps and require only a one coat application to give instant waterproofing.

if you require a higher degree of solar reflection this can be done using the White or grey Cromapol they have great solar reflective capability's.

Best Practices for Applying Cromapol:

1. Clean all debris to ensure a dust free surface, all moss and lichen must be removed using a Fungicidal Wash, ensuring all corners and gutters are clean and free from plant growth.
2. Ensure the area to be repaired is free from standing water, make good all cracks, splits, small holes and flashings prior to application.
3. Gap or expansion joints greater than 3mm must be covered using Glass‐Fibre scrim and Cromapol this must be carried out prior to full coating.
4. Cromapol will tolerate damp surfaces although as with any application for best results Cromar recommend applying to a dry surface.
5. Cromapol is easily applied using a brush, roller or squeegee.
6. Application temperature should be between 5 degree C  and 25 degree C.

The product maybe soft for a further period but this is not detrimental to the waterproofing qualities of the product.
