Product Overview:

Bond it Patio Seal Sealer 25 litre is a solvent free acrylic coating used to seal and protect patios, paths, natural stone, concrete and block paving from the effects of the sunlight, water, oil, petrol and fungal moss growth.

Bond it Patio Seal Protects block paving driveways and pathways and patios against water penetration as well as spillages of contaminants, such as oil and grease.

It will also deter dirt and grime build-up and will enhance both the present colour of the paths and greatly extend the lifespan of the driveway block paving, path or patio slabs.

The milky solution dries to hard wearing water repellent film which gives a low sheen slip resistant finish which will reduce dirt pick up and facilitate easier cleaning.

The product is safer to use than conventional solvent based products, i.e. it is non flammable and will not harm plants and animals when used as directed.

Preparation:

• Remove organic growth lichens etc. that may be present.
• For best results pre treat the areas with Bond It PATIO BLASTER refer to data sheet.
• Wash all debris away and ensure the surface is dry and free from oil, grease, dust and loose material that may hinder adhesion.

Application Guide:

Bond It Patio Seal is a ready-to-use product, and no dilution is necessary. For optimal results, follow the preparation suggestions above and follow these simple steps:

1. Surface Preparation:

   • Prior to application, remove any organic growth like lichen, moss, or algae.
   • For best results, use Bond It PATIO BLASTER (refer to the data sheet for instructions) to treat the area before sealing.
   • Thoroughly clean the surface, removing all debris, oil, grease, dust, and any loose materials that could affect adhesion. Ensure the surface is dry.

2. Application Process:

   • Shake the container well to mix the contents.
   • Apply a single, even coat using a brush, roller, or squeegee. Avoid pooling or ponding of the product.
   • Allow the sealer to dry for 3-4 hours, depending on weather conditions. Don’t traffic the area until the sealer is fully dry.

3. Temperature and Humidity:

   • For the best results, apply Bond It Patio Seal in temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
   • Colder, humid conditions will slow drying time, so ensure the area is dry before application.

Important Notes

• Pre-Seal Surface: Ensure paviours are sealed before applying any pointing or jointing compound, as some compounds may stain porous paving materials.
• Avoid Over-Application: Over-application or applying the sealer on damp surfaces can lead to white discoloration. Always ensure the surface is dry.
• Weather Conditions: Do not apply Bond It Patio Seal if rain is expected. Protect treated areas from rain until fully dry.
• Non-Porous Surfaces: Do not use on non-porous surfaces.
• Safety Precautions: Keep children and pets away from treated areas until the sealer is completely dry.
