Toupret Airless Spray Jointing Plaster is a ready-to-use plaster for interior jointing and skimming of plasterboard. It applies via any airless spray machine with a minimum flow rate of 5L/min.
The formula bonds directly to gypsum, plasterboard, old painted surfaces, cement, concrete, and cellular concrete - painted or unpainted. No priming or sealing is needed before application. Coverage stands at 1.7kg/m² per millimetre of thickness, with a maximum application depth of 5mm per coat.
Once completely dry, the plaster finishes white and accepts all types of paint, filler, or wall coverings as an overcoat. The surface is ready to paint in 24 to 48 hours. UKCA and CE certified for jointing, it carries a 12-month guarantee when stored correctly.
Key Features and Benefits
Typical Applications
How to Use
Machine Setup: Remove the gun filters - strainer, suction, and pencil - to allow product flow. Load the spray plaster into your bucket or hopper, then prime the airless machine with water.
Nozzle Selection: Fit a suitable nozzle; recommended sizes are 3.31 to 6.35. Check the product packaging or technical datasheet for specific guidance.
Spraying: Stand at right angles to the wall, 0.7 to 1m away. Apply at a constant 90° angle, covering 1m² at a time. Move the gun parallel to the substrate at a constant speed, overlapping each pass by 50%.
Skimming: After spraying, skim immediately with a blade or trowel at least 50cm long. When working on ceilings, too, spray those first before moving to the walls.
Second Coat and Finishing: Apply a second coat once the first is hard and dry to the touch. Wait for the product to dry fully, then sand as required.
