Sika Rendermix Render Water Resisting Plasticiser in a 5 Litre comtainer, Sika Rendermix is a water resisting plasticiser for improving renders and screeds.

How to use Sika Rendermix Careful surface preparation is essential to achieve a good bond. Ensure substrate is clean and free of dirt, dust and grease.

Remove all cracked, loose or flaking render, plaster and paint.

If the surface to be bonded is porous, first pre-wet and prime with a bonding slurry of SikaBond SBR+.

This should be applied to the prepared substrate immediately prior to the application of the render.

Always work wet on wet.

Can also be used as a water reducer, to inhibit passages of salts for external or internal rendering and screeding.

Sika Rendermix Methods of Work:

• Dosage rates to achieve the desired workability will depend on the class of mortar, ambient temperature sand quality and cement type.
• Sika Rendermix should be dispensed into the mixture with the gauging water.
• Where multi layers of render are to be applied ensure previous layer is thoroughly scratched to assist the bond.
• All subsequent layers should be no thicker than the previous one.

Sika Rendermix Uses:

• As a water resisting liquid admixture for sand and cement renders and screeds.
• As an aid to prevent water bleed from the fresh mortar.
• As a water reducer to inhibit passage of salts for external or internal rendering and screeding.
• As a mortar improver for pebble dashing or roughcast finishes.
