Alpha Chem SBR Bond 5 Litre a liquid, which has numerous uses both internal and external as an admixture, primer, bonding agent and sealer.

Cromar Alpha Chem SBR Bond is a water‐based non‐ionically stabilized hydrolysis‐resistant dispersion of a carboxylate styrene butadiene copolymer.

Sbr Bond is a white Polymer Emulsions used extensively by the building industry for many years used as an admixture for cement and concrete applications,

including repair and renovation, surfacing of floors and bonding generally.

SBR contains anti-foam to control the density of cementitious mixes.

SBR Bond is used for modification of hydraulic blinders in common building applications including repair mortar, flooring, rendering, bonding, mineral sealing slurries and as cement based adhesive.

At higher temperatures 25 degree C the addition of SBR Bond prevents a premature stiffening of the mortar allowing for mor time on the job and less wastage.

Free from plasticizer and other additives which can migrate.

SBR Bond Typical Uses

Admixture for mortar, screeds, renders.

Bonding agent for screeds, renders, self-Levellers.

Primer and sealer in tiling applications.

Flexibliser for cementicious based tile adhesive when tiling on wooden, asphalt floors.

In addition, SBR Bond has the advantage over PVA bonding aids in that its not adversely affected in wet conditions and is recommended for exterior use.

Bonding Coating Primer

Provides adhesion coating to concrete masonry or brick to accept cementitious renders, screeds or repairs.

Mix cement 2 to I by weight, 1.5 ports by volume SBR I part by weight I part volume.

Adhesive Mortars

Bonding of slip bricks, tiles and mosaics.

The grouting and pointing of mortars with some chemical resistance.

Cement 25kg, sand 38kg SBR 5 litres, water I to 2 litres.

Floor patching ‐ floor screeds ‐ renders ‐ concrete repair

A mix of 5mm to 15mm thick Cement 25kg, course clean sand 60kg SBR 5 litres, Water 2 to 5 litres

Density 2.200kg/M Mix consumption at 15mm thick 33kg/M²
