Alpha Chem PVA Bond has been designed specifically for use in the building industry as a general purpose bonding agent, and additive for concrete and plasters and as a multi-use adhesive, primer for multiple surfaces including screeds render plaster wood and much more, a high quality multi-use admixture and adhesive that is ideal for use as a bonding agent, sealer, primer and admixture for concrete mortars and plasters.

PVA Bond is a multi-purpose bonding agent, primer, sealer, cement and plaster admixture that adheres to most common building and DIY materials. Ideal for priming unsound surfaces prior to plastering or painting, as an adhesive on wood, cork, textiles and most applications where at least one surface is porous, for general dust sealing on flaking paintwork walls etc and as a cement and plaster admixture.

Directions

All surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and as dust free as possible

1. As an adhesive For bonding wood and similar absorbent materials, apply neat to both surfaces and press firmly together, clamp if possible and leave for 24 hours.

1. Use as plaster bonding agent Prime surface with 1 volume PVA to 2 volumes water and allow to dry.

1. Apply banding coat of I volume PVA: 2 volumes water, then apply plaster while bonding coat is still tacky.

1. Use as cement admixture Use I litre of PVA Bond per 5kg of cement or 5 litres per 25kg bag

1. Use as sealer primer For sealing wall surfaces prior to tiling or papering, dilute 1 volume of PVA with up to 3 volumes of water, dependent on porosity of surface, apply by brush onto surface to be sealed until suction is satisfied.
