Silverline carpenters nail and pin 5 piece punch set is used to punch nails below the surface ready for decorating and finishing.
Made from hardened and tempered high quality steel for strength and longevity.
Each piece features a knurled grip for an easy firm grip with a blackened finish.
Use the smallest size possible to minimise damage to the surrounding areas.
The slim design allows the tool to be used close in a corner and the very rough knurled grip means that the punch can even be gripped with just the fingers making this job much easier.
A nail punch is used to set nails below the surface with minimal contact with the surrounding area, it is also sometimes known as a Nailset.
Designed to be used with a hammer to drive nails into wood just below the surface, it is typically used for finishing work like installing skirting trim architrave and other applications where the appearance of the finished piece is very important, prevents hammer marks in new and old trim.
