Overview:

The Silverline 160W 1/3 Sheet Orbital Sander is designed for preparing doors, windows, walls and other flat surfaces for painting and finishing. Its compact rectangular pad reaches into edges and corners more easily than round sanders, making it ideal for general decorating and refinishing work.

An ergonomically contoured main handle with large trigger switch, lock-on button and front support handle gives good control from multiple angles. The sander accepts both hook and loop sheets and conventional cut-to-size sheets, and features a dust extraction port to help keep the work area cleaner when connected to a vacuum.

How to Use

• Fit a suitable hook and loop sanding sheet to the 90mm x 187mm pad, or cut a conventional sheet to size and clamp it in place using the quick-change levers.

• Attach the dust extraction adaptor and connect to a compatible vacuum for reduced dust if available.

• Hold the sander with both hands, using the main handle and front handle for control.

• Place the pad flat on the surface, squeeze the trigger and use the lock-on button for continuous running if required.

• Move the sander in smooth, overlapping passes, allowing the machine to work without excessive pressure.

• Replace sanding sheets when they become worn or clogged for best results.
