The Silverline 1200W DIY Sander Polisher is a powerful, mains-powered machine designed for both sanding and polishing tasks. With a 180mm hook and loop backing pad, it’s ideal for refinishing vehicle bodywork, restoring paint finishes and carrying out general surface preparation on wood, metal and fillers.

A variable speed control and sturdy D-handle give you excellent control over the tool, whether you’re cutting back paint, smoothing a panel or buffing to a high shine. Supplied with backing pad, sanding disc and polishing bonnet, it’s ready to go straight out of the box.

How to Use

• Fit the D-handle securely to the machine and select the appropriate accessory (sanding disc or polishing bonnet) on the hook and loop backing pad.

• Set the variable speed dial to a low setting to start, increasing speed as required for the task and material.

• Hold the tool with both hands, keeping the pad flat to the surface, and start the machine before moving in smooth, overlapping passes.

• Use lower speeds for polishing and higher speeds for more aggressive sanding, always checking the finish as you work.

• When finished, release the trigger, allow the pad to stop fully, then remove the tool from the work surface and disconnect from the mains.
