Sika Silent Layer 3mm Wood Floor Flooring Adhesive Sound Deadening 16.7m Roll is a high quality polyethylene underlay foam mat.

Sika Silent Layer is used in conjunction with Sikabond MS Wood Floor Adhesive gun grade, Sikabond 52 Wood Floor Adhesive or Sikabond at universal or other manufacturer adhesive to deliver high performance insulation and adhesion for a variety of flooring. The Silent Layer mattings primary objective is to give excellent sound deadening reducing walking and other sound transfer.

The integral part of the Sika Wood Floor Bonding System is used to bond solid or engineered flooring.

The 16.66 meters 1.5m wide roll = 25 meter square coverage.

How to use Sika Silent Layer Sound Deadening Mat:

• Ensure that the surface to be covered is clean, dry and free from dust  debrie and friable material.
• Ensure that the mat is laid flat with a few mm gap between it and walls.
• Never but the silent layer mat up against skirtings.
• Adhesive should be laid down using the information supplied with the sikabond gun grade adhesive.
• The grid allows for acurate application of the flooring adhesive.
