Sika Damp-Proof Slurry 20kg is a one-component, polymer-modified, cement-based waterproof coating designed to prevent moisture ingress in walls, floors, and underground structures. How to Use:

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, oil, or loose material. Pre-wet the substrate.

2. Mixing: Add approx. 3.6 litres of clean water per 20kg tub and mix for 3 minutes to form a smooth slurry.

3. Application: Apply with a brush, roller, or trowel. Use two coats for optimal protection, with the second coat applied at 90° to the first after initial curing.

4. Curing: Protect exterior applications from direct sun and wind. Use curing sheeting where required.

Limitations:

• Not for decorative finishes

• Not suitable for traffic-bearing surfaces unless overlaid

• Protect from frost and rapid drying

• Avoid penetrating the coating with mechanical fixings

Sika Damp-proofing Slurry does not provide a trafficable finish on floors it will need to be protected with a levelling screed.

Special attention is required to avoid puncturing the waterproof coating with fixings, these should be accommodated either by surface bonding

with Sikaflex EBT adhesive or similar high bond adhesive.

Sika Damp Proofing Slurry will not bond to surfaces that have been treated previously with a water repellent, finishing plasters may take longer to set when applied over the Damp-proofing Slurry.
