The Prodec barrel sealant gun 400ml is designed for use with 300ml and 400ml foil packs containing silicones sealants or adhesive also suitable for use with cartridge sealants 310ml to 380ml by simply removing the plastic foil pack plunger leaving on the metal plunger.

By using foil packs the amount of waste product going to landfill is dramatically reduced.

The Prodec 400ml sealant barrel foil gun is Compatible with traditional cartridge-based products and the more eco-friendly foil sausages, this full barrel applicator is the next evolution of the caulking gun.

It features an ergonomic finger moulded trigger that drives the plunger to efficiently and evenly push the sealant through the cartridge for smooth application, with a quick release clip that stops the flow when required, giving a clean break and ensuring no long, messy strings of sealant.

Specific screw-on plunger end plates are supplied for cartridges and foils and the robust aluminium barrel features a screw-fit cap that secures the nozzle in place, giving an airtight seal that prevents drying out and ensuring no mess with foils. Powder coated for durability and resistance to rust, the gun is suitable for cartridge sizes up to 400ml.

How to use a Manual Sealant / Adhesive Barrel Gun

• Barrel or bulk guns are easy to use with foil sausages.
• Firstly, remove the end cap press the quick release lever to release and pull back the bar by grabbing the end with the other hand, now hold the gun by the neck and insert the foil, grab hold of the knot at the end of the foil and simply cut that off with side cutters this is the cleanest way to do this, the gun can be held between the knees if required,
• Now put the end cap with nozzle inserted onto the gun, squeeze the trigger to put pressure on the nozzle cut to size and away you go.
• To release pressure in gun simply press the thumb leaver.
• When you come to the end of the sausage simply remove the end cap ensuring not to get product onto the threads if this does happen use Geocel The Works to remove it.
• When using cartridges simply remove the plastic plunger leaving the metal plunger, prepare the cartridge screw the standard nozzle on to the cartridge insert into the gun put on the end cap and away you go as normal.
