Everbuild Febset 45 Rapid High Strength Repair Mortar and Bedding Compound in a Large 25kg bag, Everbuild Febset 45 has a rapid cure a 1 part general purpose specially formulated repair mortar based on magnesia phosphate cement, Febset-45 is formulated to withstand impact and abrasion and can be used to repair concrete, screeds, stone, brick and steel in even the most demanding domestic and industrial situations. Designed for rapid bedding installing or steel ironwork and bonding streetscape flags blocks and kerbs, also suitable for general repairs to concrete stone kerbs steps beams lintels sills and is ideal for repairing floors, steps, pipes, kerbs and sills. Also the ideal choice for repairing cracks in masonry and concrete.

Everbuild Febset 45 Repair Mortar and Bedding Compound 25kg:

Curing Time:

• High strength at a very early stage 45 minutes.
• Chemical setting process takes place within approximately 15 minutes at 20 degree C.
• High early strength to receive heavy traffic within a period of less than one hour at 15 to 20 degree C.
• Workability at 20 degree C Approximately 5 to 12 minutes
  

Priming:

• Although secondary bonding agents are not required, the area to be repaired must be thoroughly pre-wetted with clean water.
• Care should be taken to ensure that all standing water is removed.
  

Mixing:

1. The following sequence must be followed at all times when mixing Febset 45.
2. A suitable mixer i.e. tilting drum should be located as near as possible to the area of work.
3. The amount to be mixed should never exceed that which can be transported, placed, compacted and finished within ten minutes.
4. Wet down the mixer and drain off the free water.
5. Pour the correct measured amount of clean water into the mixer first.

Do not add the water to Febset 45.

1. When adding coarse aggregates, these must be added to the water before the addition of the Febset 45 into the mixer.
2. Empty the full contents of the bag into the mixer.
3. Minimum mixing time is 1 minute.

Workability:

Although stiff at the outset, workability will improve as mixing continues, to give the desired flow characteristics. On no account must further water be added.

It is also essential that no admixtures are added.

Placing and Finishing:

Pre-wet the area to be treated and remove surplus water. Always ensure correct compaction and level surface by ruling with a firm, straight edged tamping bar.
