Application Guide

• Prepare the joint by removing dust, loose material, grease and any old failing sealant. Clean with a suitable cleaner where necessary and allow to dry.

• Mask off adjacent surfaces if a very sharp edge is required. Cut the cartridge nozzle at an angle to the required bead size.

• Load a cartridge into a standard sealant gun and apply a steady, continuous bead, ensuring good contact with both sides of the joint.

• Tool the sealant immediately using a suitable finishing tool or a gloved finger lightly moistened with soapy water to achieve a smooth, even finish.

• Remove masking tape before the sealant skins. Allow the sealant to cure undisturbed; skin formation typically occurs within about 30 minutes, with full cure usually reached within 24–48 hours, depending on depth and conditions.
