Rope Seal Adhesive

This specialist seal adhesive is specially formulated suitable for use in high-temperature environments and is used for fixing thermal rope or tape and/or ceramic fibre seals to boiler doors, ovens and stoves. It is suitable for fitting rope seals for wood burners and stoves, range cookers and boilers. It is an easy to use product which is in liquid form. It is easy to clean up, just apply water to remove any excess. That said, it does have excellent heat resistant properties, being able to withstand temperatures of up to 300c. It also has excellent adhesive properties and can bond to metal fibre ropes, ceramics and most glass. The product is quick to cure which reduces the amount of time for it to collect dirt and debris and once it has set it will remain permanently flexible, creating a watertight seal which has a rubber-like texture.
