Solder is used in the joining process to join different types of metals together by melting solder, this pre fluxed solder is a metal alloy made of 60 percent tin and 40 percent lead which is melted using a Soldering Iron, the iron is heated to temperatures above 600 degrees fahrenheit melting the solder which then cools to create a strong electrical anchoring bond that normally can only be released with the application of more heat.
