How to use Plasterer's Grit Coat

Stir well before use, tip pouring from one container to another is a very good way of gaining and even mixture of grit to base material

Ready to use do not dilute the product.

Ensure surfaces are sound, clean, dry and free from contaminates, remove all loose or flaking material.

Make sure that the background is sound and will provide sufficient support.

Apply one coat using either a brush or roller.

Leave to dry thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours prior to plastering, cold or humid conditions can increase the drying time.

Ensure product is not used at temperatures below 5 degrees C.

Approximate Coverage

4 to 5 meters square per litre dependent on the porosity and roughness of the substrate.
