The blue spot tools 40 grit aluminium oxide flap discs are specially designed to be used with a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder for grinding flat surfaces.

The conical shape provides an excellent angle for contour and edge grinding.

The aluminium oxide flap discs are best at a wider angle of 15 to 25 degrees.
