Product Limitations:

• Flammability: Flammable; ensure good ventilation during use.

• Humidity Guidelines: In scenarios where the humidity level ranges from 2.5% to 7%, it's essential to use Sikabond Rapid DPM Primer on the screed as per instructions.

Alternative Option:

• Issues with Substrates: Use Lumberjack 650 flooring adhesive for specific concerns.

Surface Preparation:

• Requirements: Substrates must be porous, sound, clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
• Existing Floors: Remove all polish and wax.
• New Concrete: Allow 4 weeks for drying and maturing.

Special Considerations:

• Damp Subfloors: Use Everbuild 908 DPM for moisture control.
• Underfloor Heating: Turn off 48 hours before and after application.

For Non-Porous Surfaces

• Direct Application: This is not recommended. Instead, prime with a 1:3 ratio of EVERBUILD PVA BOND to water, followed by screeding with at least 3mm of EVERBUILD SELF-LEVEL FLEXIPLUS while the primer is still tacky. Allow the primer to cure for 24 hours or until completely dry (whichever takes longer) before proceeding as you would with porous surfaces.

Flooring Acclimatisation:

• Storage: Keep wood flooring in its original packaging in the installation room.

Application Process:

• Open the bucket and use a trowel to spread the adhesive evenly onto the floor. Use a suitable notched trowel to apply the adhesive at a rate of 0.5kg/m2 to 1.0 kg/m2. Be careful not to spread more adhesive than what can be covered in 10 to 15 minutes, typically up to one square meter.

  While the adhesive is still tacky, usually within 10 minutes, place the planks or blocks into their positions. Use a mallet and block to tap them gently into their final position. If there's any uncured adhesive, remove it with Wonder Wipes, but first, check to ensure they're compatible with lacquer-finished blocks.

  After applying the adhesive, you can sand and walk on the floor for 12-24 hours, depending on the site's conditions. This duration might be longer in colder temperatures. If the subfloor is not absorbent, wait 3 days before sanding and walking on the floor.
