Quality steel stay for long platform wooden brooms is easy to fit to give extra rigidity.

Made from corrosion resistant zinc-plated steel used for fixing and supporting wooden broom handles to the broom head

The best time to fit these stays is when the broom is new dont leave it till the broom has been broken this prevents premature broom breakage.

For use on brooms 400mm plus wide

Requires 3 screws to fit to handles and broom head Not supplied.

Tip: always pilot drill into the broom handle to prevent splitting this can be done with a small drill bit or bradawl.

How To Install:

Fix Broom Head to handle if not new offer up strengthening bar place into position and mark with a pencil the hole positions.

Using a bradawl or a small drill bit make pilot holes.

Screw bracket to head and handle using small 25mm screws.

The stay is 350mm in length.
