Everbuild 906 Black Jack Bitumen Roof Roofing Emulsion Coating 5 Litre Tin a water based fast drying bitumen Roofing Emulsion dries in 4 to 6 hours it is a stable emulsion of medium brushing consistency which dries to a black, flexible coating.

The product is specially designed for General waterproofing of roofs for use on concrete, fibre-cement, roofing felt, mastic asphalt, corrugated iron, slates, tiles, lead, copper and zinc.

Everbuild 906 also acts as a vapour barrier for cold storage rooms, mushroom houses and other similar installations, it has an approximate drying time of 4 to 6 hours depending on drying conditions, allow 24 hours between coats, provides Metal protection, provides protection against corrosion of pipes, structural steelwork and other metal surfaces and equipment.

Everbuild 906 Approximate Coverage:

• 1.25 Meters Per Litre Per coat depending on surface and porosity
• 2 coats give a dried film of approximately 0.9mm thickness

How to Use and Best Practises:

1. Stir well before use the product is brown when applied but dries black.
2. Apply by brush in a minimum of two coats at a rate of 3/4 of a litre per square metre.
3. Apply coats at right angles to each other and allow 24 hours between these coats.
4. This roof coating emulsion may be applied to damp, but not wet, surfaces.
5. For maximum durability the second coat can be reinforced with an open woven glass fibre membrane such as Scrimtex Glass Fibre Reinforcing.
6. In order to prolong the effective life of the roof emulsion coating, overcoating with Everbuild Black Jack 907 Solar Reflective Paint or similar reflective coating.
