From Everbuild an External Grade liquid, which has numerous uses as an Admixture, primer, bonding agent and sealer.

SBR Bond is a white Polymer Emulsion used extensively by the building industry as an admixture for cement and concrete applications,

including repair and renovation, surfacing of floors and bonding generally.

SBR contains anti-foam to control the density of cementitious mixes.

503 Benefits

SBR greatly improved adhesion to a wide range of masonry and other substrates including dense concrete, steel, tiles etc.

Excellent resistance to water and water vapour, aids in the adhesion of self-levelling compounds to the base surface.

Gives A high level of resistance to salt permeation, much improved toughness and flexibility, reduced surface dusting of concrete and improved resistance to many chemicals.

Reduced water: cement ratio for equivalent workability, improved frost resistance, SBR Bond is also freeze thaw stable.

503 SBR BOND USES

Admixture for mortar, screeds, renders. Bonding agent for screeds, renders, Self-Levellers. Primer and sealer in tiling applications. Flexibliser for cementicious based tile adhesive when tiling on wooden and asphalt floors.

In addition, SBR Bond has the advantage over PVA bonding aids in that its not adversely affected in wet conditions and is therefore recommended for exterior use.
